PROS-
Very impressed with the midi controller. The quality and build of the controller is phenomenal. Most of the frame is made from metal, could take a serious beating!
Includes a wide array of knobs, sliders, and programmable buttons.
Its universal, which means you can use this with other software.
It has a vintage old school look, definitely very stunning.
Software has gives you thousands of sounds and options.
CONS-
The registration process was rather annoying.
You may have a bit of latency if you aren't running a higher end computer with some decent processing power.
Includes many vintage synth sounds but not a whole lot of new school ones (for dance and techno).
OTHER THOUGHTS-
Despite having latency, you can adjust the bit rate and drastically reduce lag (at a price for sound quality of course).
Despite lacking new school sounds you have the option to edit and modify each sound in any way shape or form. I just didn't feel like editing every sound and got sick of the latency (my fault really) so I bought a Korg and I'm switching over to Mac.
FINAL THOUGHTS-
overall a GREAT beginner's set if not the best for MIDI recording/ performance.
The reason why I didn't rate this lower is because the quality of the MIDI controller more than makes up for the mediocre software (great if you know what you're doing and have a decent computer). And because it's universal you can use any software you wish!Get more detail about
