Purchasing a "student edition" one would expect to be able to do basic things simply. This does not seem to be the case with this product. Simple tasks such as inserting a note in the middle of a melody, changing a time signature or even changing the title of a composition are either not possible or are not easy. The help materials, most of which do not come with the product, spend as much time vaunting the product as in providing useful information. And, to top it off, technical support seems largely unavailable -- e-mails not answered, telephone not answered. My piano teacher suggested that I should have bought Finale.Get more detail about Sibelius Student Edition V5.
