I recently purchased two of the Listener's Bible on cd, read by Max Mclean. I bought one for myself, and one for my wife. I must say that the power, passion, and substance in which Mr. Mclean reads the bible is priceless. I enjoy the speed in which he reads, which allows you to absorb every word of the scriptures.I encourage anyone who wants to hear the word of God read with vivid reality and relevance, then pick up this gem !! No this is not a substitute for the reading,studying,and meditation on the word of God, but this is a great supplement. It gives you the flexibility to hear the word of God as you travel to and from work, around town, or in your home.
