Dramatica Pro is an excellent program for thoroughly organizing your thought processes, prior to writing your novel or screenplay. The program may be hard to understand, primarily because it uses a vocabulary and theories that are foreign to most writers. I think you should read the book titled, Dramatica: a New Theory of Story before using the software and as a reference while using the program.
