I've been using Adobe Audition since I started production of my podcast, GET FIT POD, about a year ago. I recently upgraded to Adobe Audition 3. I had no experience with audio production software prior to using Audition. It is a very difficult product for the novice to learn, but well worth the time. If you have the time to deal with the learning curve (about 8 weeks, 8 episodes for me) it is well worth it.
The great selection of pre-sets for the different effects are very beneficial for podcast production. Somebody needs to write the book "Adobe Audition Made Easy for Podcasters", or "Adobe Audition for Dummies".Get more detail about Adobe Audition 3 Upgrade.
