Progression is extremely easy to use. It provides what may be the only guitar-focused entry point to music notation and is just as useful for pianists and drummers (and bassists of course). Its ease allowed me to notate an entire song in about 1/4 of the time it took to do the same in other notation based software. Flexible functionality is available for pull-offs, hammer-ons, and controlling dynamics. Progression's sampled audio is superb. The guitars, basses, drums and pianos are all spot-on for creating backup tracks from notation. Also, MIDI note entry provides real-time or step entry with dynamics.
