I paid $60 for this junk. Got it home, ran STANDARD Install. No errors, restarted the computer and tried to run the product. Got a certficate missing error. Here's where it gets really stupid. The idiots at Roxio figured I should find their site, go through their support to discover that this is a common problem. I am now supposed to download a BAT file which required unzipping (file was like 4 lines long), run that and try to execute the software... this simply did not work. But the folks at Roxio knew this as they provided another SOLUTION: I am to uninstall their software, then go to the Microsoft site and download another utility that will hopefully clear up all the junk left behind and then re-install theie software that didn't work to begin with. Just took it back and got my money back...
Good software does not behave like this and good software companies are much better at something as simple as an install. I'll never buy another Roxio product and I will make sure my company doesn't either..Get more detail about Roxio Easy VHS to DVD.
