I really like sonar and have been pleased with the consistency of this software. Since Pro Tools was still working out the kinks at the time I was shopping I went with this and have not been disappointed. It is not quite as intuitive as i hoped and still have a lot more functions to learn. But it has plenty of power at flexibility with recording that i will surely max out in the near future. I use it mainly as a midi sequencer and sync unit for my usb setup. I will start using it for manipulating analog recording soon as my music becomes more diverse and complex.
