I should have read the other reviews more carefully.
I cannot register this with Finale and I cannot use this program. Finale will no longer register academic software sold by Amazon.com or anyone else at Amazon.com. They also said that Amazon's own policy prohibits the sale of academic software which they agreed to do. But they do not enforce this policy and they let anyone including Amazon sell academic software. See below to read their their policy regarding the prohibition of selling academic software.
I have sent a dozen email to Amazon but they will not refund my money. All they say is that the software is not defective and just register it. But I cannot register it. Now I am stuck with wasting $300, I cannot use the program and Amazon is doing nothing about it.
Stay clear of this and all academic software.
Shame on Amazon.
