I purchased this upgrade when I got an AVCHD camera which is not supported in the 3.5 version. My only concern was Livetype in the new version does not have as much content as the old version but a visit to the support forums on Apple Support said just to not install the new Livetype and keep the old version which I did and it works fine.Get more detail about Final Cut Express 4 Upgrade from Final Cut Express 1, 2, 3, or 3.5.
